Transcendental Realm

From the paintings, the spectators get the pure experiences to feel free to enjoy their own reverie and meditation and create their own art by their own nature, instinct, point of view, experiences and feelings. This series of paintings exhibited in YY9 Gallery in Hong Kong in 2015.

Enter the Emptiness

It is inspired by the poem of Su Shi (1037-1101). It is composed by eight indivual pieces of painting. From the different combinations of the eight pieces, spectators may see the different space that allow them experience different sense of beauty.

JIWYE TO

The idea of emptiness is Jiwye's view of life and nature and the basic element of his art. We can see the correlation between emptiness and the development of his art through his paintings from 1978 to 2014 in the catalogue.

Sound of Emptiness

Sound of Emptiness inspired by the sound of Spring which allows its spectators to indulge in a scene where stream and waterfall into layers of cloud which appear so vast and void. This series of paintings exhibited in YY9 Gallery in Hong Kong in 2012.

Autumn Floods is inspired by Zhuangzi’s essay of the same name. This series of paintings was exhibited in YY9 Gallery in Hong Kong in 2011.

Cloud is Mountain

Cloud is Mountain is a series of paintings which step beyond the different culture – east and west, ancient and contemporary. Exhibited in Art East & West in Melbourne in 2006.

Emptiness - A Retrospective of Jiwye To

The exhibition was held in East & West Art, Australia, displaying works from the 1980s to the present.

Traditional Contemporary

A series of dense ink paintings allows the spectators experience the serenity and comfort. It exhibited in Sunbow Gallery in Shanghai in 2010.
